Why Streaming on Just One Cam Site Limits Your Growth
Maybe you’re brand new to webcam modeling and looking for the best way to start. Or maybe you’ve been streaming for a little while already and now you want to take that next step to boost your earnings.
Whichever you are, chances are you’ve already come up against a common problem. The cam world is getting more competitive every day. There are more sites than ever and it’s hard to know which one to choose. You might have picked one platform, only to later see another model making serious money on a different one and wonder if you’re missing out.
This is a real challenge. The site you stream on can be the difference between earning an average income and pushing yourself into the top percentage of models. Streaming on just one site limits you to their audience, their main viewership countries, and their tools. And when that happens, it’s easy to feel like you’re being restricted, losing out on visibility, growth, and ultimately income.
What Is Multi-Streaming and Why Webcam Models Should Use It
This is where multi-streaming comes in.
If you’ve never heard the term before, multi-streaming is simply the practice of using software to broadcast your show on multiple cam sites at the same time. That means one stream from your end, but two, three, or more platforms all getting it live.
The benefits of multi-streaming for webcam models are huge:
Reach more fans. Every platform has its own regular and loyal users. By going live on more than one you put yourself in front of far more unique viewers.
Protect your income. You’re not tied to one site. If a platform goes down, has tech issues, or bans your account, you still have your audience on other platforms ready to go and don't have to start from scratch on another site.
Build your personal brand. The wider your reach, the easier it is to funnel fans to your premium content like OnlyFans or even to your social media.
Maximize ROI on your time. Instead of streaming eight hours and reaching only one audience, you’re reaching multiple groups in those same eight hours.
Sounds great right? But I'm sure you already know that streaming on just one site is already demanding.
Managing two or three can feel overwhelming at first. That’s why my recommendation is not to jump in too fast.
If you’re a new model, it’s smarter to start with one platform, learn it inside out, then add a second once you feel comfortable. After that add a third if you feel ready. The same goes for experienced models who have only used one site up until now. Just because you can stream everywhere at once doesn’t mean you should. The key is finding a balance where you’re growing your reach without lowering the quality of your shows or burning yourself out.
If you’re still unsure about which site to begin with, we have a complete free beginner’s guide to webcam modeling that walks through exactly how to choose the best starting platform. But for now, let’s dive into how to set up multi-streaming step by step.
Step 1: How to Choose the Best Cam Sites for Multi-Streaming
The first decision you’ll make is which platforms to go live on. The great thing about multi-streaming is that you can test and mix platforms until you find which ones work best for you.
For this tutorial, I’ll show you how to set up multi-streaming on three of the most popular cam sites: Chaturbate, MyFreeCams, and Stripchat.
The setup process is basically the same for any other site, since all you’re doing is getting a stream address and password (called RTMP server and Stream Key) from the platform and plugging it into your software.
Important note: Always check the terms of service for the sites you want to use. At the time of writing, the three platforms listed here do allow multi-streaming. Some sites however require exclusivity, and you risk suspension or bans if you stream elsewhere at the same time.
Step 2: The Best Multi-Streaming Software for Webcam Models (Lovense, OBS, SplitCam)
In order to stream to multiple platforms you'll need a tool. There are a few options webcam models often use:
OBS Studio with a multiple RTMP plugin. A free and open-source tool. Powerful but takes some setup.
SplitCam. Lightweight, easy to use, and good for beginners, though it has limited features.
Lovense Stream Master. A good all-in-one option that has OBS built in, designed specifically for webcam models.
There's a slight difference in how these tools work. OBS and Lovense Stream Master both work by taking your webcam feed, encoding it into a high-quality stream, and sending it out to multiple sites. SplitCam works differently by creating “virtual webcams” that duplicate your camera into multiple browser tabs.
That puts more strain on your computer and your browser, which is why I don’t usually recommend it for professional setups.
The tool I personally recommend, and what we use with our own models, is Lovense Stream Master. It’s simple, reliable, and comes with other features like toy integration and overlays. So for the rest of the guide we’ll be using Lovense Stream Master.

Step 3: Download and Install Lovense Stream Master
First download and install Lovense Stream Master. You can get it directly from the official site.
On Mac, open the .dmg file and drag the app into Applications. On Windows, you’ll use an .exe installer with the setup wizard. The setup is almost identical apart from that.

Note: Stream Master uses Chrome to open your cam site broadcasters. If you don’t already have Chrome installed, you’ll need to install it before continuing.
Once installed, open the app. You should see a window like the below open in Chrome:

Create an account or sign in if you already have one, and pair any Lovense toys if you’re planning to use them.
Step 4: Set Up Your Scene in Lovense Stream Master (OBS)
When you launch Stream Master, switch the preview to “Built-in OBS.”

This opens up the OBS window where everything takes place.

Don’t panic if it looks complicated. We’re only going to use a few sections. In the top left is the multi-streaming panel where you’ll add each cam site. Bottom left is for scenes. By default you’ll see things like “starting soon” and “be right back.” You can delete those if you want by selecting them and clicking the bin icon and just keep “Live.” Some sites don't allow you to use scenes like Be right back or Starting soon, so make sure to check.
Now add your camera. In the Sources box, remove the default capture device by selecting it and clicking the bin icon, then add a new Video Capture Device by clicking the + icon, selecting Video Capture Device and then select your webcam device.

To change the default microphone in use you can click the 3 dots under Mic/Aux in the Audio Mixer section and change the device in use. If it’s working correctly you should see the green bar moving in response to noise in your environment.
Optional: add the Lovense Video Feedback overlay so tips and toy responses show live on stream.
That’s it! Your scene is now ready.
Step 5: Find Your RTMP Server and Stream Key on Each Cam Site
This is the information that connects Stream Master to your cam sites. Think of the RTMP server as the address where your video needs to go, and the Stream Key as the password that proves the stream belongs to you.
Keep your stream key private. If anyone else got it, they could go live using your account.
Here’s where to find them on each site:
Chaturbate
Go to your Broadcast Yourself page
Select “External Encoder (OBS/RTMP)”
Click “View OBS/RTMP broadcast information”
Copy the RTMP Server URL and your Broadcast Token

MyFreeCams
Open your MFC broadcaster
Go to Options at the bottom
Next to “External Broadcaster” click “Stream Key & URL”
Copy the Server URL and Stream Key

Stripchat
Open your Broadcast Center page
Click “Set Up Broadcast”
Switch to “External Broadcast Software (OBS)”
Click “Show OBS Broadcasting Specification”
Copy the Server URL and Stream Key

Step 6: Add Each Cam Site to Lovense Stream Master
Back in the OBS window of Stream Master, click “Add new cam site.” Enter the name of the platform, paste the RTMP Server, and paste the Stream Key.

Repeat this for each site you want to stream on. Once added, you’ll see them listed in the multi-streaming panel.

Step 7: Start Your Multi-Stream and Go Live
When you’re ready, select the platforms you want to broadcast to and click “Start.” Stream Master will begin sending your show to all of them.
Some sites, like Stripchat, require you to press “Start Show” inside the site’s interface after Stream Master connects. Chaturbate, on the other hand, will begin broadcasting automatically once the stream is detected.
Now that you know how to go live on multiple cam sites, the next big question is timing. The hours you choose can make a huge difference in how many viewers you reach and how much you earn. Step 8: Wrap Up and Save Settings
When your show is finished, click “Stop” for each site in Stream Master. Your settings are saved, so the next time you stream, you can just open the app and click start again.
You can also mute your Microphone in the Audio Mixer section, under the microphone input you have selected by dragging the input volume all the way down, or clicking the Volume icon so that it shows as muted. Just in case you need to mute the audio for some reason mid-stream without ending everything.

Multi-Streaming for Webcam Models - Work Smarter, Not Harder
And that’s it. You’re now set up to stream on multiple cam sites at the same time.
Yes, the setup can feel a bit technical the first time. But once you’ve gone through these steps you’ll realize it’s mostly copy and pasting. Once everything's setup, going forward starting a show is as simple as pressing Start.
The benefits are worth it. More visibility, more fans, more tips, and more opportunities to grow your personal brand without putting in double or triple the hours. That's working smarter, not harder.
My last piece of advice is to start small. Don’t overwhelm yourself by adding every site just because you can. Start with two, get comfortable, and then experiment with adding a third if you feel ready. Keep track of which platforms perform best for you and focus on the ones that deliver. Add new ones and see if they out perform any of your existing.
Streaming is a business, and the models who treat it that way are the ones who grow long term. You now have the tools to take control, reach wider audiences, and maximize your earning potential.
